About me
Carlien van de Kreeke has a Masters Degree in Germanic languages (English/ Dutch Literature and Linguistics), obtained at the Catholic University of Leuven (B). Although being a Dutch native speaker she feels just as confident in the English language and at home in the British culture since she is married to an Englishman for over 10 years and currently is living in the UK.
Professionally, She has been active as a language teacher (TESL and Dutch for Foreigners) as well as managing her own retail business. People's abilities and progress in learning other languages facinate her in general and more particularly the development of children's speech appeals to her. Also, she has a broad interest in young children's literary, emotional, creative and physical development.
